Sarah Waters is the author of several books I've read. The most memorable was Fingersmith, the story of a bunch of thieves who aim to get access to the fortune of a young woman. The story is told from several different points of view and has surprising plot twists that are guaranteed to keep the reader interested in finding out what is really going on.
